Hadith 315

315 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِّ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ قَالَتْ: «صَلَّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَوْبٍ مِرْطٍ كَانَ بَعْضُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَبَعْضُهُ عَلَيَّ، وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ»

Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer while wearing a woolen sheet, part of which was on the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and part of it was on me, even though I was in a state of menstruation at that time.
