Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Once I raced with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and I outran him. Then, when I gained weight, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) raced with me, and he outran me. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Aisha! This is in return for that."

Benefit: From this hadith, it is understood that a husband and wife may compete in a race with each other while maintaining proper covering (hijab). It is a natural matter that when a team is defeated, it tries very hard to win in return. Nowadays, girls’ competitions are taking place with uncovered bodies and in front of the whole world; this is outright misguidance and a satanic act, such as marathon races and girls playing kabaddi with other girls, etc. Keep your children and other loved ones safe from such indecency. It is regrettable that the Muslim woman who was once modestly covered is now, by becoming uncovered, playing a satanic role. May Allah grant guidance, ameen.
