Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes be in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) at the time of true dawn, then he (peace be upon him) would perform ghusl (ritual bath) and would fast that day.
