Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a mat which he would spread out during the day and at night he would make a partition with it. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray in it, and some people followed him to pray behind him. Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) states: When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) realized about these people, he abandoned it and said: "I fear that a command may be revealed regarding these people which they would not be able to bear." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bind yourselves to deeds according to your capacity, for Allah's bounty does not cease from you until you become weary." The narrator states: The most beloved deed to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was that which was done regularly, even if it was little. Whenever the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed any (supererogatory) prayer, he would perform it regularly.
