170 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ طَالِعَةٌ فِي حُجْرَتِي لَمْ يَظْهَرِ الْفَيْءُ عَلَيْهَا بَعْدُ»
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform the Asr prayer while the sun was still high in my room and its shadow had not yet appeared.
