169 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: ثنا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي أُمِّي صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ شَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: «إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيَضَعُ رَأْسَهُ فِي حِجْرِ إِحْدَانَا فَيَتْلُوَ الْقُرْآنَ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ»
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to place his blessed head in the lap of one of us (his noble wives) and recite the Holy Qur'an, even though that woman would be in the state of menstruation at that time.
