Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from Madinah Munawwarah, he was fasting. When he reached the place of "Kura‘ Ghamim," he raised a vessel, placed it on his palm while he was mounted on his ride, and stopped those ahead of him until those behind also caught up with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from that vessel while people were looking at him. After that, he learned that some people were still fasting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those people are disobedient."
