1320 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لَهُ فِي سِقَاءٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدُوا، فَتَوْرٌ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Nabidh used to be prepared for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a waterskin, and if a waterskin was not available, it would be prepared in a stone vessel.
