Hadith 1316
1316 - حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَي قَالَ: ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ وَضْعَ الْجَوَائِحِ بِشَيْءٍ» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: لَا أَحْفَظُهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ وَضْعَهَا، وَلَا أَحْفَظُ كَمْ ذَلِكَ الْوَضْعُ.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned forgiving some payment in the case of a natural disaster. Sufyan says: I only remember this much, the narrator mentioned forgiving something in it, but I do not remember how much should be forgiven.
