Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When evening falls, keep your children (inside the houses), and after a man has gone to rest, do not engage in conversation, for you do not know whom Allah the Exalted lets loose among His creation at that time. When you go to sleep, close the doors, extinguish the lamps, turn the vessels upside down, and tie the mouths of the water-skins."
