1309 - حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَي قَالَ: ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ، وَلَا مَرَّتَيْنِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَيُّكُمْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ أَوْ نَخْلٌ فَلَا يَبِعْهَا حَتَّي يَعْرِضَهَا عَلَي شَرِيكِهِ» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: وَكَانَ الْكُوفِيُّونَ يَأْتُونَ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ يَسْأَلُونَهُ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، وَيَقُولُونَ: حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ عَنْكَ ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَي
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever owns land or a date orchard should not sell it until he has offered it to his partner." The narrator named Sufyan says: The people of Kufa came to the narrator named Zubair and asked him about this hadith and said: Ibn Abi Layla has narrated this to us from you.
