Hadith 1262
1262 - قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، فَحَدَّثَنِيهِ، وَزَادَ فِيهِ كَلِمَةً لَمْ يَقُلْهَا عَمْرٌو، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ نَكَحْتُ: «يَا جَابِرُ أَتَّخَذْتُمْ أَنْمَاطًا؟» ، قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَأَنَّي لَنَا أَنْمَاطٌ؟ قَالَ: «أَمَا إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When I got married, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "O Jabir! Have you used carpets?" I replied, "O Messenger of Allah! Where would we get carpets from?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Soon you will have them."
