Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) finished stoning the "Jamrah" and slaughtered the sacrificial animal, he offered the right side of his head to the barber, who shaved it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the left side, and he shaved that as well. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave his blessed hair to Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) and instructed him to distribute it among the people.
