Hadith 124

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was given knowledge of everything except five things (the ruling is different). The statement of Allah Almighty is: «إن الله عنده علم الساعة» "Indeed, the knowledge of the Hour is only with Allah." This is until the end of the Surah.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Muhammad Ibrahim bin Basheer
Benefit:
Every knowledge that was given to the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was through revelation (wahy), and whatever is made known ceases to remain unseen (ghayb). There are countless evidences in the Qur'an and Hadith that the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) did not possess knowledge of the unseen (ghayb). The knowledge of five things Allah Ta'ala did not inform even through revelation; the knowledge of these matters belongs to Allah Ta'ala alone.
