Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Khaybar, we found some donkeys outside the settlement. We slaughtered them and began to cook them. An announcer from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) proclaimed: Beware! Indeed, Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) forbid you from them because they are impure and related to the actions of Satan. (The narrator says) So whatever was in the pots was thrown out, even though they were boiling.
