Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) called some of the Ansar to grant them some land in Bahrain. They said: "We will not accept this until our Muhajir brothers are also given similar land." So the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After me, you will see others being given preference over you, so be patient until you meet me."
