Hadith Number 1224
Hadith 1224
1224 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ فَقَالَ: «مَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا؟» ، فَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ كَثِيرًا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ» قَالَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ: سَمِعْتُ الْحُمَيْدِيَّ يَقُولَ: " لَقِيَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ سِتَّةً وَثَمَانِينَ مِنَ التَّابِعِينَ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ: مَا رَأَيْتُ مِثْلَ أَيُّوبَ " قَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ: " قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: وَكَانَ لَفْظُ الزُّهْرِيِّ إِذَا حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَسَهْلٍ: سَمِعْتُ سَمِعْتُ "
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked him about the Hour (Day of Judgment). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "What preparation have you made for it?" He did not mention many things, he only said: I love Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You will be with those whom you love." The narrator named Abu Ali says:
Imam Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Ibn Uyaynah met 86 Tabi'in, and he says: I have not seen anyone like Ayyub.
Imam Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The narrator named Sufyan has stated this, when Zuhri used to narrate to us from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) or from Sahl, he used to say: I have heard this narration, I have heard this narration.
Imam Humaydi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Ibn Uyaynah met 86 Tabi'in, and he says: I have not seen anyone like Ayyub.
