Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: "Do not build buildings, otherwise you will become inclined towards the world." Explanation:
1:
The word "di'ah" has appeared in the hadith.
By this is meant such properties that are immovable, for example, orchards, fields, and villages, etc.
Some people say:
By this is meant all those things upon which a person's economic life depends.
If these things cause a person to become heedless of the remembrance of Allah, and the person forgets the Hereafter and his heart becomes completely inclined towards the world, then he should distance himself from them and adopt the fear of Allah.
