Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When food arrives and the iqamah for prayer has been pronounced, then eat the food first." Sufyan says: I have not heard any narrator use these words: "When food arrives"—these words have only been transmitted by Zuhri.
