Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person’s neighbor asks him for permission to fix his beam in his wall, he should not prevent him." The narrator states: When Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this hadith to the people, they lowered their heads. So he said: What is the reason that I see you turning away? By Allah! I will strike between your shoulders. Sufyan says: I even remember the place where I heard this narration from Imam Zuhri. In it, he only mentioned A‘raj and did not mention Sa‘id bin al-Musayyib.
