Guidance about foul-smelling things due to differences in chain of narration
Hadith 11
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا حُصَيْنٌ سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ مِثْلَهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ حُصَيْنٌ مَعْدَانَ
This same narration is transmitted with another chain of narration from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him. In it, the narrator named Husain did not mention the narrator named Ma'dan.
