Hadith 1099
1099 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «طَعَامُ الِاثْنَيْنِ كَافِي الثَّلَاثَةَ، وَطَعَامُ الثَّلَاثَةِ كَافِي الْأَرْبَعَةِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The food of two people is sufficient for three, and the food of three is sufficient for four."
