1035 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي حَنْظَلَةُ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَيْهِلَّنَّ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ بِفَجِّ الرَّوْحَاءِ حَاجًّا، أَوْ مُعْتَمِرًا، أَوْ لَيُثْنِيهِمَا»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, surely Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) will definitely recite the talbiyah for Hajj or Umrah from Faj Ruhā’, or he will combine both of them."

From this hadith, a prophecy regarding Sayyiduna ‘Isa ibn Maryam (alayhis salam) is mentioned: that near the Day of Judgment, by the command of Allah Ta‘ala, he will descend and perform Hajj or ‘Umrah or both. We have faith in this: the descent of ‘Isa (alayhis salam) is true.
