Hadith 1030

1030 - ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَوْ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «خَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الرِّجَالِ أَوَّلُهَا، وَشَرُّهَا آخِرُهَا، وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ آخِرُهَا، وَشَرُّهَا أَوَّلُهَا»
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best rows for men are the first ones and the least good are the last ones. Whereas for women, the best are the last rows and the least good are the first ones."
