Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Everything has a hump, and the hump of the Qur'an is Surah Al-Baqarah. In it is a verse which is the chief of all the verses of the Qur'an. If it is recited in a house where the devil is present, the devil leaves that house. That verse is Ayat al-Kursi."
