1022 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: ثنا يَحْيَي بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: «سَجَدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ، وَاقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ» ، قَالَ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ: قِيلَ لِسُفْيَانَ: " فِيهِ وَ ﴿ اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ﴾ ؟، قَالَ: نَعَمْ "
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We performed the prostration of recitation along with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Surah Inshiqaq and Surah Al-Alaq.
Imam Humaydi says: Sufyan was asked: Is Surah Al-Alaq mentioned in the narration? He replied: Yes.
