Hadith 16721
(حديث مرفوع) قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ الْهِلَالِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي أُمُّ أَبِي رِبْعِيَّةُ بِنْتُ عِيَاضٍ الْكِلَابِيَّةُ ، عَنْ جَدِّهَا عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْكِلَابِيِّ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ " يَتَوَضَّأُ فَأَسْبَغَ الطُّهُورَ " ، وَكَانَتْ هِيَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَتْ ، أَسْبَغَتْ الطُّهُورَ حَتَّى تَرْفَعَ الْخِمَارَ ، فَتَمْسَحَ رَأْسَهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubaidah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I once saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing ablution; he performed a complete and thorough ablution. The narrator says that my grandmother, Rabi’ah, also used to perform a perfect ablution and would wipe over her head by lifting her scarf.
Hadith 16722
(حديث مرفوع) قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : حَدَّثَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ الْهِلَالِيُّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَدَّتِي رَبِْعيَّةَ بنت عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ جَدِّهَا عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْكِلَابِيِّ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَوَضَّأَ ، فَأَسْبَغَ الْوُضُوءَ " ، قَالَ : وَكَانَتْ رَبِعيَةُ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَتْ ، أَسْبَغَتِ الْوُضُوءَ .

(حديث مرفوع) قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّاقِدُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ الْهِلَالِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي رَبِيعَةُ ابْنَةُ عِيَاضٍ الْكِلَابِيَّةُ ، عَنْ جَدِّهَا عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْكِلَابِيِّ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَتَوَضَّأُ ، فَأَسْبَغَ الطُّهُورَ " ، قَالَ : وَكَانَتْ هِيَ يَعْنِي جَدَّتَهُ إِذَا أَخَذَتْ الطَّهُورَ أَسْبَغَتْ .
