حَدِیث رَجل لَم یسَمِّهِ
Hadith of a man whose name was not mentioned
Hadith 16617
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ مُهَاجِرٍ الصَّائِغِ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ لَمْ يُسَمِّهِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقْرَأُ : قُلْ يَأَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ، قَالَ : " أَمَّا هَذَا ، فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ " ، وَسَمِعَ آخَرَ ، يَقْرَأُ : قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ، فَقَالَ : " أَمَّا هَذَا فَقَدْ غُفِرَ لَهُ " .
It is narrated from a Sheikh who met the Prophet (peace be upon him) that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) heard a man reciting Surah Al-Kafirun. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "He has become free from shirk." Then he saw another man reciting Surah Al-Ikhlas. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "By its blessing, he has been forgiven."
