Hadith 16593
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ : " إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ رِجَالًا لَا أُعْطِيهِمْ شَيْئًا ، أَكِلُهُمْ ، مِنْهُمْ فُرَاتُ بْنُ حَيَّانٍ " ، قَالَ : مِنْ بَنِي عِجْل .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them): "There are some among you to whom I do not give anything, rather I entrust them to their faith. Among them is Furat bin Hayyan; he belonged to Banu 'Ajl."
