حَدِیث رَجل مَن اَصحَابِ النَّبِیِّ
Hadith of a man from the companions of the Prophet
Hadith 16588
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسَ بِمِنًى ، وَنَزَّلَهُمْ مَنَازِلَهُمْ ، وَقَالَ : " لِيَنْزِلْ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ هَاهُنَا " وَأَشَارَ إِلَى مَيْمَنَةِ الْقِبْلَةِ ، " وَالْأَنْصَارُ هَاهُنَا " وَأَشَارَ إِلَى مَيْسَرَةِ الْقِبْلَةِ ، " ثُمَّ لِيَنْزِلْ النَّاسُ حَوْلَهُمْ " ، قَالَ : وَعَلَّمَهُمْ مَنَاسِكَهُمْ ، فَفُتِحَتْ أَسْمَاعُ أَهْلِ مِنًى حَتَّى سَمِعُوهُ فِي مَنَازِلِهِمْ ، قَالَ : فَسَمِعْتُهُ ، يَقُولُ : " ارْمُوا الْجَمْرَةَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the plain of Mina seated the people in their places and, delivering a sermon, said: "Let the Muhajirun settle here," and he pointed to the right side of the Qiblah; "and let the Ansar settle here," and he pointed to the left side of the Qiblah; then the people settled around them. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught them the rites of Hajj, which opened the ears of the people of Mina, and everyone in their own encampment could hear the voice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I also heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Pelt the Jamarat with pebbles like the size of date stones." It is narrated that a man named Abu Talha Wa'iz came to Imam Malik and said: "O Abu Abdullah! People stop me from narrating this hadith: 'Send blessings upon Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim, indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious, and upon the family of Muhammad and upon his wives.'" Imam Malik said: "You may narrate this hadith and mention it in your sermons."

قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : سَمِعْتُ مُصْعَبًا الزُّبَيْرِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : جَاءَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ الْقَاصُّ إِلَى مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، فَقَالَ : يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ قَوْمًا قَدْ نَهَوْنِي أَنْ أَقُصَّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ ، وَعَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ ، وَعَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ ، فَقَالَ مَالِكٌ : حَدِّثْ بِهِ ، وَقُصَّ بِهِ ، وَقُولَهُ
Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: I heard Mus'ab az-Zubayri say: Abu Talhah al-Qass came to Malik ibn Anas and said: O Abu Abdullah, some people have forbidden me to narrate this hadith: "May Allah send prayers upon Ibrahim, indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious, and upon Muhammad and upon his household and upon his wives." Malik said: Narrate it, and relate it, and say it.
