حَدِیث عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ عَبدِ اللَّهِ المَخزومِیِّ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Hadith of Abdullah ibn Abdullah al-Makhzumi (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 16341
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ الْمَخْزُومِيِّ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا مَا عَلَيْهِ غَيْرُهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Umayyah that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying in the house of Sayyidah Umm Salamah, wrapped in a single garment (with both its ends placed over his shoulders).
Hadith 16342
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ ، أَنَّهُ " رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فِي ثَوْبٍ مُلْتَحِفًا بِهِ ، مُخَالِفًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ " .
