حَدِیث عَلِیِّ بنِ شَیبَانَ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Hadith of ‘Ali ibn Shayyban (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 16297
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَسُرَيْجٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُلَازِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَلِيّ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ شَيْبَانَ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ وَافِدًا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : فَصَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلَمَحَ بِمُؤْخِرِ عَيْنَيْهِ إِلَى رَجُلٍ لَا يُقِيمُ صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِنَّهُ لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَا يُقِيمُ صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ " ، قَالَ : وَرَأَى رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ ، فَوَقَفَ حَتَّى انْصَرَفَ الرَّجُلُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اسْتَقْبِلْ صَلَاتَكَ ، فَلَا صَلَاةَ لِرَجُلٍ فَرْدٍ خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ " .
(Attributed hadith) 'Abd al-Samad and Surayj narrated to us, they said: Mulazim ibn 'Amr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Badr narrated to us, that 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Ali narrated to him, that his father 'Ali ibn Shayban narrated to him, that he went as a delegate to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. He said: We prayed behind the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he glanced with the corner of his eyes at a man who was not straightening his back in bowing and prostration. When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, finished, he said: "O assembly of Muslims, there is no prayer for the one who does not straighten his back in bowing and prostration." He said: And he saw a man praying behind the row, so he waited until the man finished, then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Repeat your prayer, for there is no prayer for a man who prays alone behind the row."
Hadith 16298
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُلَازِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ طَلْقِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : لَدَغَتْنِي عَقْرَبٌ عِنْدَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " فَرَقَانِي ، وَمَسَحَهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Talq that once I was bitten by a scorpion in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) performed ruqyah (recited supplications) over me and passed his hand over me.
