It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Harith that I married a woman. After that, a black woman came to us and said, "I have breastfed both of you, so you are foster brother and sister." I went to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "I have married the daughter of so-and-so. After the marriage, a black woman came and said, 'I have breastfed both of you,' even though she is lying." The Prophet (ﷺ) turned his face away from this. I came from the front and said the same thing again, "She is lying." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "How can you stay with this woman now, when the black woman claims she has breastfed both of you? Leave her."

After a short while, he came out and saw that signs of astonishment were visible on the faces of the people. He said: "During the prayer, I remembered that a piece of silver was left with us. I did not like that it should remain with us until evening or night, so I have ordered it to be distributed."
