Hadith 16079
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Makith, who was among the participants of Uhud, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Good character is a thing that has the ability to grow, and bad character is misfortune. Goodness increases one's lifespan, and charity averts a bad death.
