حَدِيثُ هِنْدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ وَكَانَ هِنْدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ
Hadith of Hind ibn Asma' al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him), and Hind was among the people of Hudaybiyyah
Hadith 15962
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ هِنْدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ هِنْدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ ، قَالَ : بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى قَوْمِي مِنْ أَسْلَمَ ، فَقَالَ : " مُرْ قَوْمَكَ ، فَلْيَصُومُوا هَذَا الْيَوْمَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ ، فَمَنْ وَجَدْتَهُ مِنْهُمْ قَدْ أَكَلَ فِي أَوَّلِ يَوْمِهِ ، فَلْيَصُمْ آخِرَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hind bin Asma that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) sent me to my people, who belonged to Banu Salim, and said: Instruct your people to fast on this day of Ashura. If you find among them anyone who has eaten or drunk in the earlier part of the day, then he should spend the rest of the day without eating or drinking.
Hadith 15963
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ هِنْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ وَكَانَ هِنْدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ وَأَخُوهُ الَّذِي بَعَثَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُ قَوْمَهُ بِصِيَامِ عَاشُورَاءَ وَهُوَ أَسْمَاءُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ فَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " مُرْ قَوْمَكَ بِصِيَامِ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ " ، قَالَ : أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ وَجَدْتُهُمْ قَدْ طَعِمُوا ؟ قَالَ : " فَلْيُتِمُّوا آخِرَ يَوْمِهِمْ " .
