حَدِيثُ صُحَارٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Suhar al-Abdi (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15956
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صُحَارٍ الْعَبْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُخْسَفَ بِقَبَائِلَ ، فَيُقَالُ : مَنْ بَقِيَ مِنْ بَنِي فُلَانٍ " ، قَالَ : فَعَرَفْتُ حِينَ قَالَ : قَبَائِلَ أَنَّهَا الْعَرَبُ ، لِأَنَّ الْعَجَمَ تُنْسَبُ إِلَى قُرَاهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahar Abdi that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: The Hour will not be established until some tribes are swallowed up by the earth, and people will begin to ask, "How many people are left from such-and-such tribe?" When I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioning the tribes, I understood that what was meant were the Arabs, because non-Arabs are referred to by their cities.
Hadith 15957
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صُحَارٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : اسْتَأْذَنْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَأْذَنَ لِي فِي جَرَّةٍ أَنْتَبِذُ فِيهَا ، " فَرَخَّصَ لِي فِيهَا " ، أَوْ أَذِنَ لِي فِيهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahar Abdi that I requested the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to permit me to prepare nabidh in a jug, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted me permission.
