حَدِيثُ جَدِّ طَلْحَةَ الْأَيَامِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith of the grandfather of Talhah al-Ayyami (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15951
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَمْسَحُ رَأْسَهُ حَتَّى بَلَغَ الْقَذَالَ وَمَا يَلِيهِ مِنْ مُقَدَّمِ الْعُنُقِ مَرَّةً " . قَالَ : الْقَذَالُ : السَّالِفَةُ الْعُنُقِ .
It is narrated from the grandfather of Talha Ayami that he saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) wiping his head in such a way that the Prophet (peace be upon him) wiped once from the back part of the neck up to the adjoining front part.
