حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of a man from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 15886
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ الطَّيِّبِ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي غُرْفَتِي هَذِهِ، حَسِبْتُ قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ لَهُ حَمْرَاءَ مُخَضْرَمَةٍ، فَقَالَ: «هَذَا يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ، وَهَذَا يَوْمُ الْحَجِّ الْأَكْبَرِ». Marrah al-Tayyib says that in this very room, a companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated this hadith to me: The Prophet (peace be upon him) delivered a sermon on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah while riding his red camels and said: This is the day of sacrifice and this is the day of the greater Hajj.
