Abdullah Yashkari says that when the central mosque of Kufa was built for the first time, I went there. At that time, there were also date palm trees there, and its walls were made of sandy clay. There, a person was narrating this hadith: I received news of the Farewell Pilgrimage of the Prophet (peace be upon him), so I selected a rideable camel from among my camels and set out. When I reached a place on the way to Arafah, I sat down. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) mounted his ride, I recognized him because of his appearance. Meanwhile, a man who was ahead of him said, "Move out of the way of the riders." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Perhaps he has some need." So I came so close to the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the heads of both our mounts were close to each other. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me of an action that will admit me to Paradise and save me from Hell." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Wonderful, wonderful! I kept my sermon brief, and you have asked a very excellent question. If you are intelligent, then worship only Allah, do not associate anything with Him, establish prayer, perform Hajj of the House of Allah, fast in the month of Ramadan. Now, make way for the riders."
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain. Mughira's father says: I was sitting in a gathering where a person was narrating this hadith: I received news of the Farewell Pilgrimage of the Prophet (peace be upon him), so I reached a place on the way to Arafah and sat down. Then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith and said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me of an action that will admit me to Paradise and save me from Hell." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Establish prayer, give zakat, perform Hajj of the House of Allah, fast in Ramadan, like for people what you like for yourself, and dislike for them what you dislike for yourself. Now, make way for the riders."

Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, he said: Ma'mar narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Mughira, from his father, who said: I came upon a man who was narrating to some people, so I sat down. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was described to me while I was at Mina, going to Arafat, and he mentioned the hadith. So I said: O Messenger of Allah, inform me of a deed that will bring me closer to Paradise and distance me from the Fire? He said: "Establish the prayer, give the zakat, perform Hajj to the House, fast Ramadan, love for people what you love to be brought to you, and dislike for them what you dislike to be brought to you. Leave the faces of the riding animals alone."
