Hadith 15866
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ الْبَجَلِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ " قَاعِدٌ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَدْ وَضَعَ ذِرَاعَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى رَافِعًا بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ قَدْ حَنَاهَا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ يَدْعُو " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Numeir Khuzai that once I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sitting and performing prayer. He had placed his right hand on his right thigh, his index finger was raised and slightly bent, and he was supplicating.
Hadith 15867
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " وَاضِعًا يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى فِي الصَّلَاةِ يُشِيرُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Namir Khuzai that once I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying while sitting; he had placed his right hand on his right thigh and was pointing with his index finger.
