Abdullah bin Shaqiq says that once I was sitting in Ilya with a group among whom I was the fourth person. During this, one of them started saying that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "Because of the intercession of one man from my Ummah, more people will enter Paradise than the number of Banu Tamim." We asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Will this intercession be other than your intercession?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Yes, it will be other than mine." I asked them, "Did you really hear this hadith from the Prophet (peace be upon him)?" They said, "Yes." When they stood up from the gathering, I asked the people, "Who is this?" They said, "This is our master Abdullah bin Abi Jud'an."
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Jud’an says: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying that because of the intercession of one man from my Ummah, more people will enter Paradise than the number of Banu Tamim. We asked: O Messenger of Allah! Will this intercession be other than your intercession? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Yes, it will be other than mine. I asked him: Did you really hear this hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ)? He said: Yes.
