It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mujashi‘ bin Mas‘ud that he brought his nephew to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) so that he could pledge allegiance for Hijrah. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: No, he will pledge allegiance for Islam, because after the conquest of Makkah, the command of Hijrah no longer remains, and he will be one who follows goodness.
