حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of a man (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15801
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from a companion who visited the Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) once offered prayer in only one garment in such a way that he took both its ends from opposite sides and placed them on his shoulders.
