حَدِيثُ عُوَيْمِرِ بْنِ أَشْقَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Uwaymir ibn Ashqar (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15762
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، عَنْ عُوَيْمِرِ بْنِ أَشْقَرَ ، أَنَّهُ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْدُوَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلَمَّا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ ، " فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُعِيدَ أُضْحِيَّتَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uwaymir bin Ashqar that he once slaughtered the sacrificial animal before the Prophet (ﷺ). When the Prophet (ﷺ) finished the Eid prayer, he mentioned this to the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered him to offer the sacrifice again.
