Hadith of Hajjaj al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15733
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وقَالَ ابن نُمَيْرٍ : رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَسْلَّم ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا يُذْهِبُ عَنِّي مَذَمَّةَ الرَّضَاعِ ؟ قَالَ : " غُرَّةٌ عَبْدٌ أَوْ أَمَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hajjaj Aslami that once I submitted in the court of the Messenger: O Messenger of Allah! What can absolve me regarding the right of the wet nurse? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: She should be given a slave man or a slave woman as a gift.
