Hadith 15708
Ata bin Saib says that once I brought some charity to Sayyidah Umm Kulthum bint Ali. She refused to accept it and said that the freed slave of the Prophet (ﷺ), whose name was Mehran, narrated this hadith to me: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Charity is not lawful for us, the family of Muhammad, and the freed slave of any people is also counted among them."
