It is narrated from Sayyiduna 'Amir that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during a journey, offering voluntary prayers at night on his mount, regardless of which direction the mount was facing.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amir bin Rabi’ah that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a grave. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: Whose grave is this? The people informed him that it was the grave of such-and-such woman. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Why did you not inform me? The people replied: You were sleeping, and we did not think it good to wake you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not do so, rather call me for the funeral. After that, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) formed rows at the grave of that woman and offered the funeral prayer.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amir bin Rabi’ah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you see a funeral procession, stand up until it passes by. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, when he saw a funeral procession, would stand up until it passed by, and when he accompanied a funeral, he would turn his back towards the other graves.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you see a funeral procession and cannot accompany it, then stand up until it passes by or is placed on the ground.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amir that a man from Banu Fazarah married a woman in exchange for a pair of sandals for two pairs of sandals. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) upheld his marriage.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Amir that a man married a woman in exchange for two sandals. That woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and mentioned this matter. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked her: "Are you satisfied with two sandals in exchange for yourself and your wealth?" She said, "Yes." Shu‘bah asked ‘Asim about the meaning of this, whether permission was intended by it. He said, "Yes." On another occasion when they met, ‘Asim narrated the woman's reply as: "I consider it correct." So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Then my opinion is the same."

It is narrated from Asim bin Ubaidullah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: After me, there will come some rulers who will sometimes perform the prayer at its appointed time and sometimes delay it. You should continue to pray with them; if they pray on time and you join them, you will receive the reward and so will they. If they delay it and you still pray with them, you will receive the reward and they will bear the punishment for the delay. Whoever separates himself from the congregation and dies in that state, dies the death of ignorance. And whoever breaks a covenant and dies in that state, will come on the Day of Resurrection with no argument in his favor.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amir bin Rabi’ah, who was a Badri companion, that sometimes the Prophet (peace be upon him) would send us with a detachment, and we would have nothing with us except a few dates as provisions. The Prophet (peace be upon him) would distribute them among us, one handful at a time, until it would come to the point where each person would get only one date. Abdullah says: I said, “Father, what use is one date to you?” He replied, “Son, do not say that. When we did not even get one date, then we realized its value.”
It is narrated from Asim bin Ubaidullah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: After me, there will come some rulers who will sometimes perform the prayer at its appointed time and sometimes delay it. You should continue to pray with them; if they pray at the proper time and you join them, you will receive the reward and so will they. If they delay it and you still pray with them, you will receive the reward and they will bear the punishment for the delay. Whoever separates himself from the congregation and dies in that state, dies the death of ignorance (Jahiliyyah). And whoever breaks a covenant and dies in that state, will come on the Day of Resurrection with no argument in his favor. Ibn Jurayj says: I asked Asim, "Who narrated this hadith to you?" He replied, "Abdullah bin Amir narrated it to me from his father, and he from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."

And if, after making a pledge of obedience, he throws it off from his neck, then Allah will meet him in such a state that he will have no proof with him. Beware! No man should sit in seclusion with a non-mahram woman, for the third among them is Satan, except if she is a mahram, because Satan is with one and stays away from two. Whoever feels displeased with his sin and happy with his good deed, then he is a believer.

Abdullah bin Amir says that once Sayyiduna Amir bin Rabi’ah and Sahl bin Hunaif went out with the intention of taking a bath. They were both looking for a place to hide. Sayyiduna Amir took off his woolen cloak from his body. My eyes fell upon them, and they had already entered the water and were bathing. Suddenly, I heard a cry from them in the water. I immediately went there and called out to them three times, but they did not answer even once. I went to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him of this incident. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came walking to that place and dived into the water. I still feel as if the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) shin is moving before my eyes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) struck his hand on his chest and said: “O Allah, remove his heat, cold, and illness.” He stood up at that moment. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When any of you sees something in his brother that amazes him, he should pray for blessing for him, for the evil eye is real.”
