Hadith 15666
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman, may Allah be pleased with him, that I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: Recite the Qur'an, but do not be excessive in it, do not be harsh regarding it, do not make it a means of livelihood, and do not seek to increase your wealth and riches through it.

And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Most traders are sinful and wicked. Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! Has Allah not made trade lawful? He said: Why not, but when these people speak, they lie, and when they swear oaths, they become sinful.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The wicked are in fact the people of Hell. Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are meant by the wicked? He replied: Women. A woman asked: O Messenger of Allah! Are women not our mothers, sisters, and wives? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Why not, but the fact is that when they receive something, they do not show gratitude, and when a calamity befalls them, they do not show patience.

And then he said that the rider should greet the one who is walking, the one who is walking should greet the one who is sitting, the few should greet the many. Whoever replies to the greeting, it is a source of blessing for him. Whoever is unable to reply, there is no expiation upon him.
