It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qurrah that a man submitted in the court of Prophethood: O Messenger of Allah! When I slaughter a goat, I feel pity for it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said twice: If you feel pity for the goat, Allah will have mercy on you.
Muawiyah bin Qurrah narrates from his father that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said regarding fasting three days every month that it is equivalent to fasting every day and breaking the fast every day.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qurrah that a man used to bring his son to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Once, the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked this man, "Do you love your son?" He replied, "O Messenger of Allah! Just as I love him, may Allah love you in the same way." Then that man stopped attending the gatherings of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked me about that man. People informed him that his son had passed away. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to him, "Do you not like that whichever gate of Paradise you go to, you find him waiting for you there?" A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Is this ruling specific to him or for all of us?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "It is for all of you."
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qurrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When corruption spreads among the people of Syria, there will be no good left among you, and some of my followers will always remain victorious and triumphant until the Day of Resurrection, and they will not care about anyone's abandonment of cooperation.
