حَدِیث معَاوِیَةَ بنِ قرَّةَ عَن اَبِیهِ رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Hadith of Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah from his father (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith 15581
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ يَعْنِي الْأَشْيَبَ ، وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُشَيْرٍ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُرْوَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُشَيْرٍ أَبُو مَهَلٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ قُرَّةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي رَهْطٍ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ ، فَبَايَعْنَاهُ وَإِنَّ قَمِيصَهُ لَمُطْلَقٌ ، قَالَ : فَبَايَعْنَاهُ ثُمَّ أَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي فِي جَيْبِ قَمِيصِهِ فَمَسِسْتُ الْخَاتَمَ " , قَالَ عُرْوَةُ : فَمَا رَأَيْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَلَا ابْنَهُ قَالَ حَسَنٌ يَعْنِي أَبَا إِيَاسٍ فِي شِتَاءٍ قَطُّ , وَلَا حَرٍّ , إِلَّا مُطْلِقَيْ إِزَارِهِمَا لَا يَزُرَّانِهِ أَبَدًا .
Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Qurrah narrates from his father: I came to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) with a group from the tribe of Muzaynah. We pledged allegiance to the Prophet (peace be upon him). At that time, the buttons of his shirt were open. After the pledge, with the permission of the Prophet (peace be upon him), I put my hand inside his blessed shirt and touched and saw the Seal of Prophethood. The narrator of the hadith, Urwah, says: Whenever I saw Muawiyah and his son, whether in winter or summer, I always saw the buttons of their shirts open; they would never fasten them.
Hadith 15582
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنَ قُرَّةَ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : " أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسْتَأْذَنْتُهُ أَنْ أُدْخِلَ يَدِي فِي جُرُبَّانِهِ ، وَإِنَّهُ لَيَدْعُو لِي , فَمَا مَنَعَهُ أَنْ أَلْمِسَهُ أَنْ دَعَا لِي قَالَ : فَوَجَدْتُ عَلَى نُغْضِ كَتِفِهِ مِثْلَ السِّلْعَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Qurrah narrates from his father: I presented myself before the Prophet (peace be upon him) and requested to put my hand inside his blessed shirt and to pray for me. The Prophet (peace be upon him) did not stop me, and I touched the Seal of Prophethood with my hand and saw it. During this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed for me. I felt that the Seal of Prophethood on his shoulder was raised like a lump.
Hadith 15583
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَدَعَا لَهُ ، وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ " .
Abu Iyas narrates from his father that he presented himself before the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the Prophet supplicated for him and passed his hand over his head.
Hadith 15584
(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عفان ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي صِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ : " صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ وَإِفْطَارُهُ " .
Muawiyah bin Qurrah narrates from his father that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding fasting three days every month that it is equivalent to fasting and breaking the fast every day.
